“IT’S AN OUTRAGE!!!!!” I hear all of my fellow geeks yell in unison. “A Fantastic Four sequel? Who the hell wants that???”
The answer: NOBODY.
And I think Fox have listened to us.
Fox haven’t listened to anybody. They’re not an organisation that listens to sense; they’re looking at the bottom line. After the first movie tanked so hard, there’s no way even they can sell this movie. There’s no way they’d be able to put asses on seats for the second outing of this non-disaster, disaster movie.
Despite their bravado of initially stating that the sequel will go ahead despite the haters, Fox have now officially pulled the Fantastic Four sequel from their schedule.
Thank Yoda for that!
