Yesterday, an eager Wolverine fan took to the Twittersphere (totally a real thing) to ask director, James Mangold, when we can expect shooting for the next installment of the adamantium-laced hero movie to start.

Mangold answered the fans question wholeheartedly (and by that I mean he just retweeted a vague time).

Still, despite the vagueness it’s nice to know that next year we’ll get to see things moving on the third Wolverine installment and to be honest, I’m quite eager to see how it goes. We may even see the movie by the end of the year, but I doubt it. It’s more likely to be early 2017.
In my opinion the Wolverine movies have been getting progressively better and I think we’re seeing the character mature into the character we know and love.
Also, I’m excited because by that point things with the Deadpool movie might have progressed to some degree and the possibilities of a Deadpool cameo in some fashion seem logical to me, if not likely.
