That’s right folks, a brand new trailer for AMC’s Preacher has been revealed and it’s nothing short of epic.

First came the rumoured Preacher movie adaptation, which – if speculation is to be believed – would’ve starred James Marsden as Jesse Custer. It never happened, primarily because Hollywood and its audiences as a whole weren’t nearly mature enough to handle the story.
Then came the Seth Rogen-backed TV and I feared the same thing. But then I heard it was being made and I was immediately skeptical. How could I not be? It Hollywood couldn’t handle the Preacher story, how was TV supposed to cope?
Then, when I heard it was going ahead regardless, I got even more worried. They were obviously going to HAVE to adapt the story somehow. I mean, there was no other way around it.
I was worried because adaptations from the original source are generally a bad idea. You get a bastardised version of the something you absolutely loved and which then goes onto ruin the source material for you (though, not always).
That said The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones have been adapted from the original source and they’re successful shows. So this could work, right?
I was hopeful. Then I saw the original trailer and after that I saw this epic promo.
