It was inevitable really. Tom Hiddleston nailed the Loki character and from there he went on to international stardom.
Now Hiddleston’s time as Loki is coming to an end and that makes me a sad panda.
In a recent interview with The Daily Beast, Tom Hiddleston revealed that the Thor: Ragnarok may very well be the final time the British star will portray Thor’s misguided – if not entirely evil – half-brother.
“Thor 3 will be cool because I’ve not done it for four years,” says Hiddleston. “I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out of the gate.”
The last time out of the gate??? Say it ain’t so, Tom! In fact, he did give a TINY bit of hope to the fans.
Wait…So you’re not going to pop up in Avengers: Infinity War?
“I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know,” he says with a shrug. “They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.”
I think I’d rather take his second answer, rather than his first and I do hope that Hiddleston will reprise his role as Loki in the Avengers: Infinity War movies in some manner, but I suspect the actor has already made up his mind.
Don’t mind me, I’ll just sit here and cry into my keyboard.
