The hills are alive with the sound of the Millenium Falcon wooshing by and the dulcet tones of Han Solo announcing “Chewie, we’re home” this week, with the magical new Star Wras trailer hitting the interwebs.
So what better time for us to lay down some awesome plot details regarding one of the announced Star Wars Stand-Alones: Rogue One?

Rogue One will be directed by Monsters and Godzilla director Gareth Edwards has revealed the official title for the movie as well as the official logline.

Rogue One will actually be called “Star War Anthology: Rogue One”. Not much of a change, I know, but it was something worth reporting. You wouldn’t want to look stupid in front of your fellow geeks by just calling the movie Star Wars: Rogue One would you? Of course not.
But don’t worry it get’s better. The logline for the movie reveals quite a bit about the plot. Let me lay it down for you:
“A band of resistance fighters unite for a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans in Star Wars anthology film, Rogue One”
Guys – it’s a heist movie. How awesome is that???
Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One will hit the cinema’s December 16th 2015 and I cannot wait.
