Today we’re hearing that actor Julian Lewis Jones hassecured a role in the forthcoming Justice League movie.
But who will he play? We THINK have the answer.
The news comes from an interview with Wales Online in which the Welsh actor reveals his role.
In the interview, Jones says:
“I’m not allowed to say yet what part I play but let’s just say I’ve a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made. It was filmed at Warner Brother’s studio at Leavesden as well as at various locations around the UK and Iceland.”
It’s obviously the Justice League movie, right? We can determine that much. So the question is: who will he play in the Justice League Movie?
We have the answer.
Our sources close to the project have told us that the actor will in fact voice none other than the infamous DC villain himself: Darkseid.
Given the actor’s need for ultimate secrecy about, this makes makes a whole lot of sense.
Also, we kind of already know the villain will Darkseid anyway, as it has already been revealed that actor Tom Metcalfe has been cast as “Parademon” – creatures which Darkseid generally utilises as foot soldiers to cause havoc and destruction in the comic books.
I’m guessing that the Parademon may be one of the main antagonists of the movie, a test sent by Darkseid to determine the state of Earth’s defenses. We may not even see Darkseid until the end of the movie (a bit like Thanos in the Marvel Movie Universe perhaps?) or even at all. Jones may just provide a voice for the villain who remains off-screen for the first movie.
