Sit back Batman fans, The Killing Joke teaser trailer has been released and it looks epic!
For those of you unaware of The Killing Joke Batman story, it was a one-shot graphic novel written by the legendary Alan Moore and illustrated by Brian Bolland. The Killing Joke has since become a cult graphic novel and it’s one of the first attempts to provide an origin story to Batman’s greatest villain.
A number of other pivotal things happen in the graphic novel which I won’t go into because, you know, spoilers but needless to say if you haven’t read the story GO DO IT NOW!!!
For such a cult Graphic Novel it’s a wonder that Warner Bros haven’t tackle the storyline before, but then again the storyline does touch on some of the more adult themes a Batman story is ever likely to have. It’ll be interesting to see the line they walk in this animated adaptation.
