So I think by now, most geeks have seen the Suicide Squad trailer and I think it looks awesome. With Bohemian Rhapsody playing over the top of it, it was almost chilling, right?
Well have you considered what it would be like if somebody re-did that very same trailer, using the footage from the animated shows? Well somebody has made that happen…and it’s epic.
Whilst a lot of fans love the actual Suicide Squad trailer, I can see why even more would love this version. I mean, for a start it features the Mark Hamill Joker, which some have argued is the best version of the Joker of all time.
But also, because the DC Animated series stuck a little closer with the comic books and I think the main gripe with the impending Suicide Squad movie is how far apart the characters look and act from the comic book. The most controversial being Margot Robbie’s portrayal of Harley Quinn.
I’m going to give the movie the benefit of the doubt. This movie takes a lot of balls to do as it’s not easy making villains come off as the heroes, or technically anti-heroes I guess you’d say, but at least they’ve had a fair crack of the whip at it.
