Have you ever imagined what it would be like if Luke Skywalker ever turned to the Dark Side?
A lot of people theorised that’s what actually happened at the end of The Return of the Jedi. They believed Luke turned then and there and vowed to follow his father’s footsteps.
Obviously, Star Wars The Force Awakens effectively put an end to that particular theory (or what we’ve seen so far does) but it goes to show how much it was in people’s minds.
This piece of Star Wars Fan Art by JGomez is an epic depiction of that notion. It also drags in a little Bladerunner influence too as near as I can make out. In either case it’s gorgeous – check it out:
