Production has ramped up on Captain America Civil war and pictures are slowly but surely coming from the set.
Today, we have the first pictures of Frank Grillo as the villain Crossbones.
Can you say awesomeo?
At this point, you might be wondering just who the hell is Crossbones? Let me educate you good and proper!
Crossbones is portrayed by the awesome Frank Grillo and appeared in Captain America Winter Soldier as the lead special ops soldier, Brock Rumlow, who turns on Steve Rogers when Hydra make their play to take over SHIELD.
At the end of the movie we see Rumlow square off with Sam Wilson and ends up getting wheeled away by sympathetic Hydra soldiers.
In the comic books, Rumlow was trained by the impressive Taskmaster and served The Red Skull for a number of years, falling in love with his daughter in the process.
Grillo returns in Captain America Civil War as one of the villains Cap and Falcon have to tackle. Baron Zemo is the other and there’s also the whole Civil War to worry about too.
ANYWAY, let’s get to it. Frank Grillo himself shared the picture via his Instagram account just a couple of hours ago and he looks pretty bad ass.
