Bad news guys. Netflix have weighed in on when we’re gonna be getting Dardevil Season 3 and Jessica Jones season 2…and it ain’t exactly great.

It was only last week at the San Diego Comic Con, where it was announced that Daredevil Season 3 would definitely be happening. At the time I was delighted. Why wouldn’t i be, right? I mean we ARE getting a third season of Daredevil (plus The Defenders show looks pretty damned good too).
How my feelings on the matter have taken a nosedive. I mean, I’m not over-reacting or anything. I still LOVE the show and desperately want to see it, but this timeline of when Netflix expect to have it on our screens? I just can’t bear it.
This information comes primarily from senior Entertainment Weekly writer Natalie Adams, who tweeted the news from a Netflix event last night.
Marvel/Netflix sked: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders THEN 2nd and 3rd seasons of the other shows and Punisher.

She basically confirmed the timeline’s from the mouth of Netflix boss Ted Sarandos himself. Sarandos ALSO spilled the beans on the Punisher’s forthcoming involvement in the Netflix Marvel Universe.

Okay, so it wasn’t exactly 100% confirmation that Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher will definitely be in The Defenders show, but it was clearly a statement of intent from the Netflix boss. They’ve either filmed a cameo or a couple of scenes already or they WANT to and are trying to schedule it in.
I’d say that was pretty awesome news. What about you guys?
